My process of arranging is somewhat intuitive. Generally, I would start with the flowers which create an outline for the shape, and then fill in the detailed smaller flowers. There is no moment of completion like a painting, however, since I’ve been working with flowers for many years and have established a connection to the flowers, I now have the sense to know when to stop.
My attire is very practical whilst I am working. I wear my gold ring on my right ring finger, all day, every day. The weight of the piece provides me with an element of emotional strength and grounding. This is the only accessory I wear on my hands. I like them to be free and able to do the work.
